Do the lab kits conform to standards?

• Educational materials with Christian content may be disqualified solely for the Christian content without regard to the actual student experience or level of learning accomplished.  Without the Christian content, the Logos Science kits should be accepted by all states and virtually every institution of higher learning as sufficient for the lab portion of a science class. For some states, additional classroom time may be required covering pre-lab discussions and post-lab follow-ups to attain the required percentage of total lab time.

In a group or classroom setting how would you recommend these kits be used?

• In most situations, it functions best for two students to work together on the experiments, which can also save money. For groups of homeschoolers or in classrooms we recommend one kit per lab station. A lab station could have between 1 and 4 students. You may want to order extra manuals so you have one for each student.

Are manuals available separately?

• Yes manuals are available separately at $29.95 each.

About how long does it take to do the experiments?

• The time can vary but most of the experiments should take 30 to 40 minutes to finish. Some experiments require additional preparation time to heat water, prepare ice, grow mold and so on. The Biology dissections take more time and might need to be split into several sessions.

Are the kits reusable?

• Yes. For the Chemistry and Physical Science we provide enough materials and equipment to do each experiment 5 times. With careful handling, the Physics kit will only require the replacement of tape for the timer, rubber bands, and possibly copper wire. We offer a refill kit for Biology that has all the materials that will normally be consumed (specimens etc). This is available for $54.95

Is an answer book included?

• Yes there is a teacher's answer booklet included with each kit.
